On Treatment Of Baby Cousins. On Seeing Someone For Who They Are. On Being Loving & Kind.

Remind me to elaborate on the following thought someday: How sad is it that most of us can no longer imagine a person being kind to someone WITHOUT having an ulterior agenda in today’s world.

Hmm.

To contextualize the above, I love my baby cousins and don’t treat them w/ contempt because I must want to fix our fam’s shit. Oh no, person! Not at all.

First, there is nothing to fix. You’re all simply suffering the consequences of your own doings.

Second, I treat my baby cousins as nicely as I can because I want them to grow up w/ the happy memory of at least one individual treating them as they worthy-of-immense-love-and-kindness beings they are in their childhood.

Simple.

I don’t want them to turn out the shit humans you’ve all turned out to become. I want to be a positive, non-selfish-to-their-detriment influence in their lives. Well, for as long as I’m around, at least. I want to see them as them and not as the bound-to-go-astray son or daughter of so and so.
